The Running Bee Foundation Grant Stories: The Big Help Project

Throughout the pandemic, The Running Bee Foundation has been working tirelessly to ensure, when the world fully opens up again, our running events will be back bigger and better than ever!

But our events hold a much greater meaning than simply running; All profits from Running Bee Foundation events are donated to health-conscious causes within our communities to help people #BeeActiveBeeHealthyBeeHappy.

The latest recipient of a Running Bee Foundation Grant, The Big Help Project, is an excellent example…

They aim to help feed the hungry, overcome poverty and help free people from the shackles of personal debt. Which are just some of the reasons, along with their incredible work thus far, we thought they were worthy recipients of a £1000 donation!

Here are just a few welcome words from our friends at The Big Help Project:

“On behalf of everyone at The Big Help Project (Knowsley Foodbank), I would like to offer our thanks for the kind and generous donation of £1,000. This donation will help us continue our vital work within the local community.”

The Running Bee Foundation’s grant will help the Big Help Project continue its astonishing efforts, feeding countless people in need from the communities it serves.

Currently located in Bootle, Kirkby, Dovecot and Huyton, The Big Project’s Food Clubs are hoping to expand to other locations, in order to help as many people as possible.

The Running Bee’s donation will help them in reaching their goals. And you can continue to help by donating here, entering a race here or buying merchandise here.
