PAR Group supports health and wellbeing foundation for the third year running!
One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of plastic, rubber and insulation products has returned once again to become an Official Partner to the Running Bee Foundation’s SPAR City of Preston 10K.
Established in 1980, PAR Group operate from two UK manufacturing locations (Preston and Manchester) and supply to industry throughout UK, Europe and Worldwide.
With an impressive range of manufacturing capabilities, the parts they engineer are used across almost all market sectors by some of the world’s leading brands. From the foods we eat, to the water we drink and the electricity we use, PAR Group play an important role in keeping factories running 24/7 in order to provide everyday essentials.
PAR Group is proudly sponsoring the event for the third year in a row and have been involved on and off the race track at each event. Chris Livesey, Sales and Marketing at PAR, won the race in 2018.

This year’s race will take place on Sunday 25th October, following a route that winds around the heart of the city – with the popular race now becoming a staple in Preston’s sporting event calendar.
The Running Bee Foundation provides grants from the profits raised from its races in Manchester, Salford, Preston, Tameside and Knowsley to give to community initiatives in those areas and help to promote and create health and wellbeing initiatives, as well as support the fight to reduce childhood obesity.
