The Knowsley 10K will be taking place this Sunday. There are no government or NHS directives currently in place for small community and charitable events like ours. If anyone has any questions or health concerns please contact NHS 111 or your local GP.’
We will continue to follow the advice of experts in that field, including the World Health Organisation (WHO) but also the national, regional and local health authorities where we are running our event.
The Running Bee Foundation is launching a brand new event for spring 2020, The Knowsley 10k at Knowsley Safari Park on Sunday 15th March at 9.30am.
Spectators are welcomed to get in on the action as well as enjoy a fun day out with the family. Parking will be available at a charge of £5 (pay on the day); this will allow access to the Foot Safari on the day. There is also an option for attendees to visit the Safari Drive after the event for an upgrade fee of £15 which in total is just £20 per car!!! The Foot Safari features meerkats, giraffes and sea lions. The Safari Drive features the lion enclosure as well as rhinos and wildebeest!
Entry cost for club runners is £16.00 and £18.00 for non-club runners and £6.00 for the MyFirst™ mile. You can purchase your entry here >
During the race, runners will receive official chip timing, water at the middle and end of the run, and route markers at every 1km. For all who complete the race, they will receive a very special eco-friendly commemorative Knowsley 10k medal and technical t-shirt. Our official Harris & Ross physiotherapists will be attending the 2020 event.
This year, The Running Bee Foundation has announced it’s “MyFirst™” initiative and is encouraging people to complete their first mile with the Foundation. Join the “MyFirst™” Mile at Knowsley and enjoy being part of the race day atmosphere! All Mile runners will receive a medal! We look forward to seeing lots of runners in their animal fancy dress!
